'YOUTH' by Brad Birch

'Youth' is Undeb Theatre's second fully commissioned play, written by the fast rising Brad Birch (Royal Court Supergroup, Sherman Cymru Young Writers) - A coming of age tale that follows five young people over the course of one night. Presented in a warehouse space, alongside original music composition and lighting design,'Youth' will offer its audience a unique theatrical experience as they are invited to join us for a night of raving in the midst of a play.

This is a play influenced by contemporary culture of the here, today, now, inspired by and for the Youth of today.

WHO WE ARE

Founded in 2009 by Artistic Directors Tom Cullen and Alexander Vlahos, Undeb Theatre is a Cardiff/London based theatre company committed to creating work that is relevant, exciting and politically concious. Blurring the boundaries between theatre and a good night out the company is dedicated to tackling new writing in innovative and inspiring ways bringing quality work to new audiences. Undeb Theatre aims to develop ongoing relationships with new writers to help the company achieve its artistic aims. 'Youth' is Undeb Theatre’s eighth project and second to be performed in London.

Your support is vital for this production as Undeb Theatre does not currently receive any funding from other organisations.

The money you donate will ensure that 'Youth' is able to reach it's full creative potential, directly helping to:

- Secure our Cardiff and London Venues
- Fund the Lighting, Sound and Set for the show

With your support Undeb Theatre will be able to offer its audiences the opportunity to engage with contemporary subject matter in an entertaining context bringing together people as they are given the chance to watch the next generation of theatre. You will also help to facilitate our ongoing aim to create ground breaking theatre, alongside emerging arts professionals, continuing to inspire and educate through creatively collaborative environments.

    You've hit that sticky dancefloor and you're down several drinks so we say thank you, push through the crowds to the DJ and we will: add you to our list of patrons on the website, give you 2 tickets to opening night in either Cardiff or London and a free drink on arrival.

    You're a SUNRISE TO SUNSET RAVER
    You've reached the DJ requested you your song and the thump of the beat is moving right through you, we say thank you loose yourself in the crowd and we will: Put your name under our list of patrons on the website, give you 4 free tickets to the opening night in either Cardiff or London, a free drink on arrival, a signed programme and the opportunity to meet the cast after the show.

  5. Pledge £250 or more

    You're a BIG DIRTY RAVER
    It's light outside and you're not going to stop, so we say thank you and head to the park, grab your glow-stick, and some early morning runners will get a surprise and we will: Put your name under our list of patrons on the website, give you special thanks in the programme, 4 free tickets to the opening night in either Cardiff or London, a free drink on arrival, a signed programme and an invitation to the official aftershow party. You also have the opportunity to attend and observe a rehearsal in the run up to the shows premiere.
