Do you use apps on your mobile? Are you stuck with that platform now or risk loosing all those apps if something better comes out or you loose your phone? Do you want to use your apps on your other devices?
Yappsa introduces Apps 2.0. Apps that can be used on any device from mobiles to PC's, Macs, tablets, Internet TV's and more. Even better, purchase an app once and use them on different devices & platforms. So that means you can keep your apps if you switch phone or platform. But you can also use the same app on your PC, on your smart TV or your tablet, anytime, anywhere!
Yappsa stands for ‘Your Apps Anywhere’ and will be one of the first commercial market places for HTML5 based web apps including apps that are no longer available on Apple, Android, Blackberry, Windows mobile markets. Yappsa benefits the market and most importantly you by allowing you to access your apps regardless of what device you are using and transport them from device to device.
Yappsa will also be producing apps exclusive to the Yappsa marketplace bringing interesting and fun new ways to use your Internet enabled devices. And with web enabled TV's, you will find new ways to play together & share together.
Yappsa will be launched in January. The online market place is 50% developed and needs your support to make it happen. Funds will be used as follows:
£3400 to complete the online application
£500 8 months hosting the apps and the apps store
£500 will be added to the marketing fund and applied towards PR
£400 financial incentives to help build the Yappsa community & attract developers
Remaining funds will be used to cover commissions & fees.
(£4000 has already been invested in the application which is over 60% complete. A further £700 has been set aside towards marketing and £200 on administration costs and of course lots of late nights & pizza)
But what about me? I’m an entrepreneur born in London and have worked in the surveillance and digital marketing industry working hard and learning along the way. I have been successful to a degree in each field I have worked in and have been featured on Sky News, The Times, Retail News, Defence International and other publications documenting my efforts to innovate and deliver technical solutions. I bought the first auto networking camera and CCTV parallel processing technology to the UK and won 2 industry awards as well as using the technology on a Sky TV reality show. Some of my previous work can be seen in High Street stores such as Maplin.
Currently working in marketing which is a great skill to have when launching an online business and saves a large proportion of the costs required to propel Yappsa to the forefront of a growing market.
