In a crumbling house deep in the forest, a woman with needles for fingers sews a boy out of old scraps of cloth. As he makes a desperate bid for freedom, he stumbles across mad scientists, talking tapeworms and falls foul of an angry mob. Threadbare Greebo must summon up all his resourcefulness, bravery and determination to overcome his biggest obstacle of all.
Threadbare Greebo is an imaginative and compelling piece of new writing, inspired by the subject of mental illness and complemented by an original soundtrack of experimental music.

2headedpigeon Theatre Company bring a refreshingly irreverent approach to contemporary performance. Committed to subversive theatre that packs a punch, we seek to engage and provoke audiences with unusual theatrical experiences. Drawing influences from diverse and non-traditional sources, the company's aesthetic is heavily focussed on the vibrant and the visceral. 2headedpigeon Theatre Company is resident at the Firestation Centre for Arts & Culture, Windsor.
We'll be touring to 12 lovely arts centres across the South East in Spring 2012. We'll also be working with local community groups to reach out to people who don't normally make it into theatres, and really make the most of this mental health parable.
The money raised by your generous donation will help us to cover the costs of a beautifully designed set, costumes for our crazy characters (including a singing tapeworm and a real life ragdoll!). Along with all the benefit donor benefits, there is also the satisfaction of seeing how your money has turned into a truly unique fairytale world!
