Every year Fracture Theatre Company work with thousands of young people in the North East. The whole idea is to give these young people skills they need in order to follow their aspirations. We are a non-discriminative group that is managed by people who are under the age of 25. Our goal is to give participants the skills they need to progress in the theatre industry (if they choose to) and to teach transferable life skills to enhance their drive, motivation, confidence and self-esteem.

This year we have chosen to write a new piece of theatre as our summer show. We have decided to write a kind of 'biographical' piece themed around a dis-functional theatre company. This piece has been written by our group of 30 performers. We need funding to pay for the venue of our rehearsals and show.

So, we have decided to give this 'we fund' thing a whirl, and hope that it does really well. Were pushing from all angles to try and get as many people to the we fund website for pledge their support to our project. Hopefully we will be able to keep this blog as up-to-date as possible and keep you all posted about our progress during [the show]. This is one of many blogs that we hope to post to, this one will sometimes have general information regarding our work and sometimes special updates for our funders... so get pledging... you know we appreciate it... and we'll even have some guest blog writers... including some members of the cast.

    You're talking business now, we'll give you all of the above, and 2 years of free advertising space on our site, a mention in all of this year's promotional material and loads of virtual hugs from the cast!

  7. Pledge £1000 or more

    Your a legend! and we love you! You'll get a permanent space on our website for advertising, a special part of the program (for the show) devoted just to you, and we might even be able to mention you or your brand within the show... and we'll also send you a promotional DVD of everything that you've helped us achieve! MUCHO LOVE TO YOU!
