For a week between the 28thof August and the 3rd of September 2011 at Northern Stage in Newcastle Upon Tyne Alex Elliott, Brendan Murphy and Beccy Owen will be spending every waking hour exploring the notion of change.
What do we need to change in our own lives, how can we make things better for ourselves, those we love and those we meet every day?
We will join with people from all walks of life who are making changes in their lives or who are doing what they can to change direction.
As artists and performers we have worked with people who face daily challenges to their well being. Those people have not only inspired us they have produced remarkably honest and engaging work and we are lucky to still be in touch with many of those people.
This is our opportunity to offer a week of reflection, discussion, participation and, we hope, compelling performance. Open to all whilst allowing for more intimate sessions, we aim to fill Northern Stage with music, well chosen words and above all positive energy safe in the knowledge that a little change can make a big difference.

The video wall will appear on the website as well as during the performances and live debates. -
Pledge £20 or more
Pledging £20 means that you become a Fellow of Seven Days to Change the World. Your name and message will be broadcast and you will receive a unique recording of material produced during the event. Remember no two events are the same, so you will have your own piece of one-off performance as a token of our appreciation.

Contributing £50 or more to the project means you will have lifelong access to all of the events around Seven Days to Change the World. Remember, this project will continue to develop and will appear in other cities and with other collaborators. You will receive unique performance material from every event including images and video and will be mentioned in all of our future literature.
