Fat Pig Productions are trying to raise £15,000 to shoot their full length feature film 'Project Bulgaria' in Summer 2011.
Film Synopsis: Four filmmakers are invited to Bulgaria to make a documentary about the country's beauty, legends and hidden treasures, only upon completion will they receive their fee and their return ticket home. After attending the sacred Kukeri festival, a series of unnerving events show that maybe the crew aren't as welcome as initially presumed. When their car goes missing leaving the four stranded in the wilderness, the race to get home before sundown becomes a race for survival and shows why some secrets are best left hidden - six feet under.
In order to produce this 90 minute film Fat Pig Productions will need to shoot for 3 weeks in Bulgaria and for one week in London. The reason that they decided to make a film about Bulgaria is because it has a unique and undiscovered culture and will make a great setting for a supernatural thriller. Additionally it is cheap to film there and they have already secured free accommodation in both locations for part of the project. Funding would go towards paying for travel, equipment hire, costumes, expenses and a basic pay for the cast and crew.
Fat Pig Production's is made up of experienced filmmakers who specialise in stage combat and fight scenes. They believe that 'Project Bulgaria' has potential for distribution and the success of 'Paranormal activity.' A short version of the film has already been produced to give investors a feel of the feature. To view this please contact fatpig-productions@live.co.uk.
