This is the third installment from the Roundhouse's associate theatre company, OutHouse Collective.

Our show - newly christened "Proper Night" will be performed at Edinburgh Fringe this August - hopefully with your help!

This new project explores characters and their ways of life - the emotions and actions of a group of young people who just want a Proper Night. Will you join us? We've been devising since January and it's been a fantastic journey. Any funding we receive will go towards putting this show on as part of PBH's Free Fringe in Edinburgh, and securing a venue to do a London run.

A little bit about us, for the curious...

We are a theatre company made up of creatives all 26 and under, including our own dedicated technical team. We think this makes us stand out from other companies, especially as our technical team take part in the devising process! We've been together as OutHouse Collective for almost two years now, and are pretty proud of what we've achieved! It's certainly difficult starting out as a young theatre company at the moment!

In 2009 we traveled to Edinburgh Fringe and the Assembly Rooms as part of the Roundhouse Theatre Company. We got several 4* reviews and were even described as a company "obese with talent". (No diets since, we promise!)
Afterwards, we set ourselves up as Outhouse Collective, and began collaboration with director Elgiva Field. The show we created - A Neon Fairytale was performed at the international Contacting The World festival in Manchester and also in London as part of Camden Fringe, to several sold out audiences!

It's been a long journey to get back to Edinburgh, and we hope you'd like to share it with us!

Edinburgh Bound!

Hi guys, Just a quick update here to let you know that rehearsals are going swimmingly for "Proper Night", our brand new show now with a Proper Name. Very excitingly, we're now confirmed to be performing in Edinburgh this summer as part of PBH's Free Fringe. The Free Fringe is a fantastic thing - it means we don't have to pay a lot of money to perform in a venue and only see half of that returned in ticket sales. We're very grateful for it's existence, and incredibly excited to be performing with so many other artists, it feels like a really community! So, if you're in Edinburgh this summer, you can come and see our brand new show FOR FREE! If you will be stuck down south with nothing to do fear not - we are working towards securing a London venue post Edinburgh, so there's plenty more to go around. If you pledge £25 (or more!) you can get free tickets to our show, and if you can't make it, we hold regular fundraising showcase nights "OutHouse Outings" which we can drag you along to! Must dash - I've got a whole Toblerone to eat! (glamorous!) Sarah OutHouse's long suffering stage manager xx
