Ourselves Alone is a funny, engaging and poignant play about three strong women struggling to find their identity in a Belfast torn apart by the Troubles. One trapped by love, one trapped by family, one trapped by loyalty, they fight for their voices to be heard and for the right to choose a different path.
Anne Devlin’s powerful play is a brilliantly written piece of theatre that explores the emotional experience of women embroiled in conflict – an experience that is remarkably similar the world over, though the politics and culture may differ greatly.
We are delighted to be bringing Ourselves Alone to the London stage once again. We have raided the piggy banks and put lots of our own money and, of course, time into the show so far but we need a little more help to make it a reality. We would very much appreciate any donation you can make which will go towards costumes, lighting design and promotion so we get as many people as possible to come and see this wonderful play. Why not take a look at our video to find out more?
Thank You!
