Ourselves Alone is a funny, engaging and poignant play about three strong women struggling to find their identity in a Belfast torn apart by the Troubles. One trapped by love, one trapped by family, one trapped by loyalty, they fight for their voices to be heard and for the right to choose a different path.

Anne Devlin’s powerful play is a brilliantly written piece of theatre that explores the emotional experience of women embroiled in conflict – an experience that is remarkably similar the world over, though the politics and culture may differ greatly.

We are delighted to be bringing Ourselves Alone to the London stage once again. We have raided the piggy banks and put lots of our own money and, of course, time into the show so far but we need a little more help to make it a reality. We would very much appreciate any donation you can make which will go towards costumes, lighting design and promotion so we get as many people as possible to come and see this wonderful play. Why not take a look at our video to find out more?

Thank You!

Well folks, it's all go! We are currently in the final stages of pre-production. Who knew tracking down decommissioned weapons would prove to be such a chore! But we think we have it sorted. Next thing we need to find is a futon. Freecycle here we come. After that the hunt will be on for flares and lovely retro jumpers. Can't wait to hit the charity shops for this costume hunt. We're having a read through on Saturday which will be the first time all (well most) of the cast will meet each other so we're really looking forward to that. Don't forget to pass the word around to your theatre loving pals. We think it's going to be a very interesting show. Talk soon! JuSt Team.
