About the show:
Inspired by Homer’s epic journey, Teatro Vivo’s Odyssey will lead the audience on an adventure that will explore love, loss, heroism and family in a contemporary and fantastical way.
Odysseus has been away from home for twenty years. Initially having left to join the war. But with the conflict won and no reports of his death, Odysseus’ homecoming is long overdue.
A map showing possible sightings of Odysseus is given to each audience member and they must journey to the different sites to discover his fate.
Teatro Vivo’s Odyssey is not a conventional play, but a treasure hunt that will lead the audience on a winding and magical journey down seemingly normal high-streets and into the heart of this epic myth.

Teatro Vivo have been creating theatre for the last six years in public spaces with the aim of encouraging new audiences and making live art that is thrilling, unusual and exciting.
We create high quality theatrical experiences, taking theatre off the stage and putting it amongst the audience, enabling them to hear, see, smell and experience the lives of the characters as their story unfolds around them.
