The 'ArtsTrain' community music project has to date seen around 1000 young people, musicians and tutors receive a range of creative music-making and performance opportunities. The project engages, challenges, and raises young peoples aspirations through the power of music.
With the money raised from our WeFund backers we will transform Bromley's Central Library into an exciting music hub for young people during weekday evenings.
The project will offer opportunities for young people to come along and learn basic skills in MCing, singing, song-writing and music production.
Bromley is an increasingly diverse borough with young
people from a range of musical and social backgrounds and the music hub will represent that by providing a programme that will challenge and engage the young people with an exciting and varied programme of learning.
Regardless of whether a young person’s passion is pop, jazz, classical, hiphop or rock young people from all areas of the borough will be able to work together with professional tutors to improve their skills as young musicians.
