Life As We Know It is a one-day event at the Pipe Factory for the GI Festival showing eight interpretations of the end of our world, each one a symbiotic collaboration between Glasgow-based artists and musicians producing sonically and visually stimulating artwork. Artists have been encouraged to engage with the performance of each piece of music and in the creation of the piece itself. This will be a truly collaborative exercise celebrating and commiserating humanity on its prosperity and certain downfall. All eight pieces will be performed together at one main event looking to our absent future.

The event includes members of Remember Remember, Happy Particles, Palms, Smack Wizards, Gummy Stumps, The Rosy Crucifixion, Organs of Love, 1990s and Ultimate Thrush working with artists Lucy Anderson, Karina Baillie, Scott Caruth, Claudia Nova, Keith Farquhar and Vickie McDonald.

Our project picture is by Vickie McDonald and was one of the designs for the apocalyptic tote bags we have for sale.
