My name is Katy Fryd and I am an artist.

My vision is to create 40 different limited edition linocut black monoprints. The 40 editions will each have a print run of 40 with a handful of artists proofs. I intend to exhibit these altogether in a rented gallery space, and the possibility of further galleries after that.

I have experience in printmaking from school and art college but need to purchase my own tools and materials to produce my own work in my studio.

I like to produce intuitive and expressionist art and currently paint my images on silk.
Pledgers can look at my website to see if they like my style of work, as this will probably be a similar style to the type of lino prints that I make.

The prints will be on archival quality chinese paper and have an image approximately 18cm x 26cm.

I also intend to print an accompanying exhibition book, including all 40 images, which will be for sale. But depending on how much you pledge, you can have your name printed in the book as a patron and the possibility of receiving a copy too.

I would like to have this exhibition ready before Christmas this year.

Please help me realise my project by pledging any amount. If you pledge for a print it could become a very valuable investment indeed.
