Professional Help Productions are bringing the most celebrated play ever written about a handbag to the London Fringe this summer.In the city, an earnest Jack is falling in love with the Honourable Miss Fairfax.  In the country, a mischievous Algernon is wooing the romantic Miss Cardew.  Is there more to these men than their Ernest exterior?  What to do?  And how does the handbag fit in?The unrivalled wit of Oscar Wilde is set within the gloriously hedonistic era of the Bright Young Things to create a deliciously decadent production.  We need to raise £2904 by August 16th. This will cover the hire of the theatre, costume, and set.  All other costs have been funded by various other fundraising initiatives, including a Celebrity Handbag Auction (with donations from Zoe Wanamaker, Prunella Scales, Dame Eileen Atkins and Tamzin Outhwaite, to name a few of many),  and a night of musical comedy.Everyone involved in Earnest is a gifted professional who is giving up their free time and outstanding talent to create a fantastic show, because they believe in the artistic merits of the production.  Being a profit share project, we want to maximise remuneration and be able to give them all more than a pat on the back and a thank you.  With all the recent funding cuts to the arts, it is becoming increasingly difficult to secure the necessary funds for covering production costs.  We can only achieve this with your help.
