Flyaway Theatre are making their Edinburgh Festival debut with Howling Moon, a stunning original script by company co-founder Heather Wilmot.

Howling Moon plot summary
Maggie fell asleep in her bed but woke up in a dark forest full of crying trees. Her only hope of escape seems to be a charismatic joker known as the Fox. He assigns himself to be her protector and shows her what could be the way out - the shining trail of footprints she left as she ran into the woods.
If they can follow them before they disappear maybe everything will be
alright. However the Wolf is drawing ever closer and what about the family of schizophrenic magpies- Sorrow-Joy, Girl-Boy, Silver-Gold and Secret?
They have a message for Maggie concerning the huge storm
clouds gathering over the trees. Will the storm break? What does the Wolf really want from her? And what lies buried beneath the forest floor?
Combining original music, dance, and vibrant characters this is a raw, uplifting and transportive story about coming to terms with being cured.

The production will be performed at C Soco, located in C Venues central base just on Chambers Street, 3rd-29th August.
This committed and passionate theatre company, consisting of current students at the University of York and recent graduates, are looking to raise money to help with the expense of taking a show to the festival.
