On Saturday 11th June 2011 at 7.30 p.m. four women (three of whom had little to no experience of creating theatre or performing on stage) delivered their own stage play called “How Desperate Can It Get?” at The St. Ives Arts Club in Cornwall.

Terrified though we all were – the feedback from the sell out audience was so positive and appreciation for the issues we covered so fantastic, that we decided to take the play to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival - THIS AUGUST!!

What a mad decision - given that we had created the original piece from nothing - save four lines from the original Euripides' "Trojan Women" and certainly a zero budget and now we had to raise over £1000 to take the play to the audiences in Edinburgh - all the way from Cornwall.

We created a blog - http://www.howdesperatecanitget.co.uk and shared our ambition with the world.

Now we are sharing it with you in the certain hope that people will want to help us travel to Edinburgh and enjoy the experiences we have had, and will have along the way.

Supporters can choose one of three rewards:
- the hard copy DVD of our first performance
- the online version
- a free copy of our booklet about the creative process and our personal journeys
