All the money we raise through WeFund will be spent on hiring an Arri Alexa camera, Leica lenses, lighting equipment, sound equipment, and a van. It will also go towards paying the crew on the production (Director of Photography, Camera Assistant, Gaffer, Sound Recordist and Boom Operator). Any left over will then go on post production - editing, grading, sound mixing and recording the film's musical score. Any left over after that will go on submitting the finished film to film festivals (Cannes, Toronto, Berlin, London, Sundance etc.) We will also need money to print your postcards, press your DVDs, send them out, and hire a venue for our Premiere. In short 4,000 is good - 10,000 is better. Please help us by spreading the word, even if you are not in a position to actually make a pledge yourself. Thanks for your interest.

Happy Accident is a family drama with elements of comedy and romance. We follow a young couple, David and Sue, going to meet David's family for the first time - on his brother John's birthday. However, John is late... David's father Michael is warm and accommodating, while his wife Claire remains distant and frosty. Tensions run high, assumptions are challenged and conflicts emerge before finally all is revealed in a bittersweet ending. A twelve minute film about love, loss and the need to communicate.
