James Weisz is an independent producer and has been given the exclusive rights to Get Carter, the stage adaptation performed only once before.

2011 marks the 40th anniversary and will premiere in May and go on to The Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Jack Carter travels back to Scunthorpe when his brother dies in mysterious circumstances. A Classic revenge tragedy made famous by Michael Caine in 1971. Adapted by Jonathan Holloway from Ted Lewis' best-selling Novel.

We are looking to raise £3000 to fund the Brighton Festival Fringe production - including hire fees, set, marketing and costume.

NICK BARTLETT AS JACK CARTER

On stage Nick has appeared in productions of classics such as Hamlet (Hamlet, at the Oval House), A Midsummer Night's Dream (Oberon/Theseus, Brighton Festival) and The Changling (Tomazo/Lollio, Edinburgh Festival). In Feature Films, Nick has worked on nearly twenty, including big Hollywood blockbusters such as The 51st State (Ronny Yu) and Gangs of New York (Martin Scorsese, Topsy Turvey (Mike Leigh.) www.nickbartlett.org
