We are a Torquay based amateur dramatic society that has fifty years of history but a dying audience. Our younger members want to stage a modern performance, rather than the usual safe comedies and costume dramas for our aging audience.

To attract a new audience we want to stage a night of modern monologues - using Ella Hickson's 2009 script 'Eight'. We're all set to perform on Saturday 23 April 2011, but we're looking for some sponsorship to help meet the costs of staging the production.

We've set a low target of £250 in the hope that we can recover this promptly and demonstrate the power of a quick turnaround for one of these projects.
