A production of new play 'The Boy on the Swing' by young writer Joe Harbot at Studio 2, Arcola Theatre .

This will be the first London performance of this exciting new writer and his first full length professional run. Led by emerging young director Joe Murphy (Artistic Director of nabokov) and designed by Hannah Clark and Ruth Sutcliffe, this will be a chance for both writer and director to work on their respective crafts at an important stage of development in their careers while forging crucial creative relationships to sustain their work in the future.

"Hello?

Hello?

Is this God?"

Earl is a regular guy. He's got a job, he's got friends, he's not alone. He is, however, lost. Not geographically; spiritually. So when a bizarre business card seems to offer answers, he's going to grab them. But is a phone call really all it takes?

This sharp new play questions the need for religion in the 21st century.

The London premiere of 'The Boy on the Swing' is directed by Fringe First 2010 winner Joe Murphy (Artistic Director of nabokov).
