In this video above you can see what the creative process of ΛVΛ| Λvatâra Λyuso Dance Company is. Here we show you some moments of our last production "Umbrales" created in June 2011 in Dresden. This is how the company works: feeding the dancers with a huge type of inputs and finding the way to physicalize them!

THE COMPANY
ΛVΛ| Λvatâra Λyuso Dance Company is a contemporary dance company whose work is produced after a process of conceptual and movement investigation. Collaborations are a crucial element for the artistic director of the company who establishes an open dialogue with poetry, architecture, and lighting design in her productions, showing a deep interest in the historical avant-garde as lab for innovative formal and social ideas. The company is based in London since 2008.

THE FESTIVAL
ΛVΛ| Avatâra Ayuso Dance Company has been invited to perform three of its works in a new Dance Festival in Karlovac (Croatia) in September 2011. The 3 choreographies that will be presented are:1. "3-adic" : a trio for 3 female dancers inspired by the artist Oskar Schelemmer2. "so quite new a thing": a solo inspired by a poem of e.e. cummings3. new work: a new duet that will be created for the occasionApart from performing, the artistic director (Avatâra Ayuso), together with the dancers, will deliver a workshop for those with or without previous dance experience, in order to bring the art of dance closer to the general audience. An open rehearsal will be also held.The festival covers our accommodation and catering during our stay in Croatia, but it doesn't cover our travel expenses from London.

YOUR SUPPORT
We are asking for a total of £1000 to cover these travel expenses, the per diems for the dancers and to hire a studio to rehearse the three works we want to present.

Dance is the art that has suffered most in this cultural European crisis, we really need help to be able to spread our artistry, to bring it to the people out there, to give them the chance to keep on experiencing the magic power of Art.
