Its a difficult year 2011/12 but AsOne Theatre is still touring, and with new writing which is brilliant, brave, bolshi and bananas! It would be so much easier/commercial and remunerative to adapt a nice well known novel that has been a successful film and set it to music! It does seem to be what the theatre's are hedging their bets with. Our plays are stories out of our beloved Dorset, about its people, heart, desires, achievements, hardships, passions and quirky uniqueness. What better! So please help us on our Jurassic Journey with AsOne's Mary Anning Project; The Cabinet Maker's Daughter who as one of Dorset's incredible daughters did so much to make the county, and especially Lyme Regis and Charmouth what it is today. Anything you can spare will help us tell another remarkable story from this beautiful part of the world, in a year when with the Olympics all eyes will looking this way!
